Lt. Eugene D. Dunton Adjt., 95th Penn. Vols. ("Gosline's Zouaves") Killed in Action: 5/3/1863, Salem Heights, VA

This photograph was sold on eBay in December of 2006.  The 95th Pennsylvania Volunteers, Army of the Potomac and one of Fox's 300 fighting regiments, was especially heavily engaged at:

• GAINES'S MILL
• SALEM HEIGHTS (where both Dunton and Hailer were killed)
• SPOTSYLVANIA
• CEDAR CREEK

Also engaged at:

• Antietam
• Gettysburg
• The Wilderness
• Cold Harbor
• Petersburg
• Sailor’s Creek
